Oct 3, 2020 · I was in the record store today looking at used CDs, and I saw two different copies of Armed Forces by Elvis Costello, the original Columbia release (CK 35709) and the Rykodisc release with bonus tracks (RCD 20273). I tend to avoid any remasters made in the late 90s and new millenium, because a lot of them are seriously brickwalled.

Whoever (or whatever, AI bot software) apparently did some good research, before dropping the ball ('VICTROLA'??!)

Dec 15, 2024 · OK. But my point is that My Aim Is True, This Year's Model, Armed Forces, Get Happy!! and Imperial Bedroom are ALL great albums. Which is why I'm saying that it's ludicrous to pretend that Elvis Costello, of all people, somehow only had two standout albums.
