India defeated Sri Lanka by 60 runs to qualify for the Super 12 of the ongoing U19 Women's World Cup. Gongadi Trisha was adjudged Player of the Match for her brilliant knock of 49 runs off 44 deliveries which helped India post 118 on the board.

Niki Prasad's India advanced to the Super Sixes without a loss, securing a 60-run victory over Sri Lanka on Thursday at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur.
