Punjab AAP issued a media statement shortly after the shooting incident in which one of its leaders was injured.

Brar, reportedly said that Vardev Singh Noni Mann, the son of former MP Zora Singh Mann, came to the BDPO office to ask about clearing a file linked to a school. The BDPO declined their request, following which the Akali leaders seemed visibly upset and walked out of the office.

An Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader was injured after being shot, reportedly by Shiromani Akali Dal leader during a heated argument in Fazilka district, Punjab, reported NDTV. The injured leader, Mandeep Singh Brar was rushed to the hospital after suffering a bullet injury.

Two AAP supporters were injured, one critically, in a clash involving Shiromani Akali Dal members at a Fazilka office, with gunshots fired.
