Crews are making progress on demolishing the abandoned Northridge Mall in Milwaukee. The building has sat empty for more than two decades at the corner of 76th Place and Brown Deer Road; becoming the target of vandalism and arson.

Once the demolition of the former Northridge Mall is done, the land could be used for housing, a large corporate or industrial space, or community gathering spaces, Department of City Development Commissioner Lafayette Crump said Tuesday during a press conference at the former mall.
