During his election campaign, former President Donald Trump has tried to claim that rival Kamala Harris has used his policies to attract voters, calling the vice president a "copycat." In August, Trump accused Harris directly of stealing ideas from him after announcing that she would eliminate taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers.
