The Houston Texans are 6-3 after falling to the New York Jets in last week's Thursday Night Football clash. With the loss to the two-win Jets, many people had some of their confidence in the Texans falter.
They signed Laremy Tunsil, Tytus Howard and Shaq Mason to extensions over the past three offseasons and invested early draft picks on Juice Scruggs, Kenyon Green and Blake Fisher. The hope was that those players, given more time, would become what the Texans thought they could be when they drafted them.
Unfortunately for the Texans and Pro Bowl quarterback C.J. Stroud, the most frequently sacked passer in the NFL that’s on an active roster, that isn’t how things have unfolded for the offensive line. Stroud has been under constant siege.
