Northern California will see continued rain and snow on Thursday after a strong winter storm arrived Wednesday.

On Monday at 12:48 p.m. a winter storm warning was issued by the NWS Sacramento CA valid from Tuesday 11 p.m. until Thursday 11 p.m. The warning is for Shasta Lake and Mountains Southwestern Shasta County to Western Colusa County as well as Shasta County.
Northern California schools close again due to Sierra snow
A third day of snow in Northern California's Sierra region is leading multiple schools to close on Friday. The KCRA 3 weather team is issuing an Impact Day on Friday for the Sierra because of how several inches of snow will affect outdoor activities and travel.
