Authorities have released details in the Friday, Jan. 17 crash along Route 9 that left one person dead in Putnam County.

Detectives say the man was traveling east on the South Service Road/Marginal Road between exits 43 and 44 around 9 a.m. when he struck the legally parked trailer.
