A Shelter-in-place has been issued for residents within a four-block radius of East Bougainvillea Avenue and North 30th Street in Tampa due to a natural gas leak.

A shelter-in-place order that was triggered by a natural gas line rupture Tuesday morning has been lifted.However, Tampa Fire Rescue says 30th Street and Bougainvillea Avenue remain closed to all traffic as crews repair the gas line.

Tampa Fire Rescue says crews have capped a ruptured gas line, but traffic along a stretch of 30th Street continues to be impacted on Tuesday afternoon.
