Concerns over incomplete work at Pakistani stadiums ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy were dismissed by the PCB, assuring on-time venue completion. The PCB spent PKR 12 billion on upgrades, while unauthorized footage of ongoing construction caused initial speculation.

“The PCB has spent nearly PKR 12 billion to upgrade our stadiums to make them fitting for an event like the Champions Trophy, which was awarded to us,” he said.
