Division III Hope gets a first-round bye before opening the football playoffs at home in Holland against Aurora (Illinois).

The Bisons and Tigers made the 28-team field of the 2024 NCAA Division II Tournament. HU and OBU qualified by finishing in the top 7 of the NCAA Super Region 3 rankings. That poll consists of GAC, GLIAC, MIAA, & GLVC teams. Both will be on the road in the 1st Round.

The Golden Bulls didn’t make the NCAA’s postseason despite being one of the highest-ranked Division II schools throughout the season.

Slippery Rock football earned the No. 4 seed in Super Region One in the NCAA Division II tournament and will host an opponent it already beat this season. The Rock will face No. 5 New Haven (8-2)

Kutztown University, fresh off its second straight PSAC football championship, was one of our teams to receive a first-round bye in the NCAA Division II playoffs. The Golden Bears, 11-0 and ranked third in Division II by the coaches, will not play until Nov. 30 when they host a second-round game.

The NCAA Division II Football Playoffs field has been announced and two HBCU schools - one from the CIAA, one from the SIAC - will be going to the NCAA playoffs. Miles College, the newly crowned SIAC champions, received the no. 4 slot in the NCAA Super Region II and will host Carson Newman.

Grand Valley State will host Indy in the first round of the NCAA Division II football tournament. Both teams are 10-1. The game will take place Saturday, Nov. 23, at Lubbers Stadium. The other matchup is Pittsburg St.
