Montgomery fired as Bruins coach, replaced by Sacco
BOSTON -- Jim Montgomery was fired as coach of the Boston Bruins on Tuesday after two-plus seasons. He was replaced by Joe Sacco. Montgomery went 120-41-23 with the Bruins after being hired as the 29th coach in franchise history July 1, 2022, succeeding Bruce Cassidy.
