Intel's next-gen Battlemage GPU just appeared in a shipping manifest, suggesting that the launch might be closer than expected.

It seems this manifest slipped from our eyes as it dates back to September 18. Intel has been sending out packing or retail boxes - measuring around 192mm x 89mm x 381mm for the Arc B580 - a budget offering from the Battlemage lineup. The packaging is relatively small but should be enough to accommodate a compact dual-slot GPU.

The news comes from Japanese tech blog Gazlog, which published an image that's said to be an official teaser from Intel for its Battlemage announcement date.

Intel is working on an Arc B580, which would be the first discrete graphics card in its Battlemage generation. This model marks Intel's strategic entry into the mid-range graphics card sector, providing consumers with a competitive alternative in the market.
