James Bartholomew "Bart" Cauthen was deeply beloved by the Coweta County Fire community and in his hometown of Moreland, Georgia.

There was no haz-mat concern, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper, due to the "very minimal" amount of acid that leaked out following the accident near SH266.

Bart Cauthen was shot and killed while trying to help a stranded driver.
