Boston University will be playing for a national championship Saturday night, with the Terriers set to face Western Michigan after both teams earned Frozen Four victories Thursday in St. Louis.
Boston University (24-13-2) will face Western Michigan (33-7-1) for the national championship at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Western Michigan started out the program's first Frozen Four trip in program history by dominating through two periods on Thursday night. Denver goaltender Matt Davis worked to keep the Pioneers in the game by turning aside 32 shots through 40 minutes, including a shorthanded breakaway late in the second period.
