The Boston Celtics have been stewing for the last couple of days about their performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder. They lost the game 118-112 in a game in which they shot a whopping 63 threes.

If the Celtics want to repeat this summer, they might have to go through a tough OKC Thunder team in the NBA Finals.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have a strong hold on the first seed. That's been the case for most of the season, with a double-digit game lead in the standings. There's been little drama for most of the year on whether they'll repeat as the top seed.

One key member of the team got unfortunate news before tipoff in Detroit, however. Ahead of tipoff, the Thunder announced that Aaron Wiggins will miss the game as he deals with an illness, as shared by Clemente Almanza on X. "Aaron Wiggins (illness) is out for tonight's game against the Pistons," Almanza posted.

The NBA is reportedly investigating the Oklahoma City Thunder for sitting all five of their starters for the same game last week.
