Alabama saw a plethora of its players enter the transfer portal this offseason and transfer elsewhere. Several will impact the future of the football program while others will not be missed as greatly.

A few pieces are locked in with LT Overton, Justin Jefferson, Domani Jackson and Deontae Lawson each returning for the 2025 season. A few more have been added through the NCAA transfer portal, pieces like Texas A&M guard Kam Dewberry and Colorado linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green, who are expected to be starters upon arrival.

The Texas A&M football program has landed a commitment from a former Alabama and Texas tight end in the transfer portal.

Wiggins is the 12th portal transfer for South Alabama in the current cycle, and third offensive lineman. The Jaguars have also added senior Ni Mansell (South Carolina) and sophomore Leavy Johnson (Western Kentucky) since the end of the 2024 season.
