An NBA insider weighed in on the blockbuster trade that sent Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers, claiming the Dallas Mavericks made the right call by parting ways with the Slovenian superstar.

The LA Lakers superstar put in a starring performance against the Bucks on Thursday, one of the most complete in franchise history.

Despite a bit of a slow start to his Lakers tenure, Doncic has found his groove. In the first half against Milwaukee, the Slovenian native became just the third player in Lakers history to record 25+ points, 5+ rebounds, and 5+ three-point field goals made in a single half. Only James and Kobe Bryant have achieved this feat in a Lakers uniform.
