Even though he is no longer the majority owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban remains closely linked to the franchise. He is still a minority owner, but doesn’t have the final say as he once did for two decades.

Cuban reiterated he did not know about the trade until minutes before everyone did, "I hear about it after the fact."
