An investigation is underway after a Minnesota woman died in a skydiving accident in southern Arizona last week.
Authorities are still investigating to determine an exact cause, but said in a press release that there were "complications" during the dive.
An avid skydiver who had made nearly 300 jumps died in a parachuting accident, Arizona police and news sources reported. Ann Wick, 55, of Minnesota, died in the accident at Sky Dive Arizona at about 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, the Eloy Police Department said in a news release.
The planes, carrying more than 350 people, experienced "a loss of required separation" while preparing to land at the same Phoenix airport, the FAA said.
