Highlights & Analysis: Golden Knights Shutout Lifeless Penguins
Stone, Samsonov spark Golden Knights past Penguins for 4th win in row
LAS VEGAS -- Mark Stone had a goal and two assists, and Ilya Samsonov made 22 saves in the Vegas Golden Knights' 4-0 victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins at T-Mobile Arena on Friday. The shutout was Samsonov’s second of the season and 15th in the NHL.
The Vegas Golden Knights have turned things around after a rough stretch and will look to keep rolling when they host the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday.
More than two decades have come and gone since Fleury broke into the NHL with the Penguins. He was an 18-year-old prodigy who captivated Pittsburgh from the beginning and, all of these years later, he still has a hold on so many hockey fans in Western Pennsylvania. They’ll be watching Sunday, just like they always do when Fleury is involved.
