Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Wednesday proposed ending anonymity for social media users and forcing tech tycoons to provide accountability if their platforms "poison society".

Pedro Sanchez said the EU should put an end to anonymity of users in social-media platforms and hold their CEOs personally accountable if they fail to comply with regulations.

“I’m pretty comfortable with the market expectations for the upcoming two meetings,” the Dutch central banker told Bloomberg TV. “I’m not convinced yet that we need to go into stimulative mode.”
