Households earning more than $100,000 made up 75 percent of its Walmart’s market share gains in the third quarter, chief executive Doug McMillon said.

The retailer saw share gains in new shoppers across income levels mainly led by upper-income households, which make more than $100,000 in annual income, Walmart officials said during an earnings call on Tuesday. Walmart in a previous earnings call had also highlighted the rise in its higher income shoppers.

Walmart reported better third-quarter results than analysts expected Tuesday morning as it registered growing sales and profits, lifting its stock to an all-time high after markets opened.
