A man is in custody following Friday's attempted abduction of a 10-year-old girl who was walking home after getting off a school bus. Brian Calder, 21, has been charged with attempted kidnapping, according to the Rockwall Police Department.

Rockwall police arrested a 21-year-old man after he allegedly tried to kidnap a child Friday afternoon. The Rockwall Police Department responded to a 911 call Friday around 12:30 p.m. of a man attempting to abduct a 10-year-old girl in the 1000 block of West Yellow Jacket Lane.
