They went out and executed, defeating the New York Knicks 106-103 to force a Game 6 in Detroit on Thursday. Cunningham scored 13 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter, including a pair of free throws with 5.4 seconds remaining in the game to give the Pistons a three-point cushion to hold onto the win.

Jalen Brunson was the hero in Game 6 as he scored a game-high 40 points – including the eventual game-winner – to lead the New York Knicks to a 116-113 win over the Detroit Pistons to advance to the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The Knicks have traded off performing well offensively and not. They have scored 94 or fewer points in both playoff games after tallying 100 or more points the game prior. Having put up 103 in Game 5, New York is primed to disappoint. It was just 6-8 ATS as a road underdog as well.
