Today during Sony’s State of Play, the company officially announced Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, coming to PS5 and PC this October. And if you already own the PS4 version of the game you’ll be able to upgrade to the PS5 port for just $10. Here’s the first trailer for the remastered Horizon Zero Dawn which will be out on Halloween.

Many gamers haven't warmed up to the idea of a Horizon Zero Dawn remaster, but that should change now that the details have been revealed.

PlayStation officially revealed its next PlayStation 4-era remaster at its September State of Play on Tuesday. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be the latest first-party title to get a fresh makeover for PlayStation 5 and PC, and it’ll be released October 31.

The PS5 remaster everyone has been waiting for is now official: Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is indeed a thing, and it's releasing for Sony's current-gen console next month on 31st October 2024. On September 18, well-known game deals and news aggregator Wario64 s hared a tweet showing a Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered ESRB rating. The newly spotted rating mentions PS5 and PC, so it appears that this new version might launch on both platforms right away. The game is still rated T for Teen as it was back in 2017 on PS4.

Sony is offering a $10 upgrade to the remastered version of Horizon Zero Dawn if you already own the game--nab it now and get a de facto discount.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is pencilled in for release on October 31, 2024 for PS5 and PC. Ghost Of Tushima is now part of a franchise and not a standalone game, with Sucker Punch planning more beyond Ghost Of Yotei, including a film and spinoffs.
