Enzo Maresca returns to face his old side Leicester on Saturday as Chelsea resume a Premier League season that has shown plenty of promise so far. The Blues sit third in the league, just four points off Manchester City in second, and have produced some eye-catching results over the last month or so despite some mixed overall performances.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca sounded hopeful that he will be able to call upon the services of Cole Palmer for Sunday’s clash with Arsenal. Palmer sustained a knock in last weekend’s draw with Manchester United after a poor challenge from Lisandro Martinez which saw the Argentine fortunate to escape a red card.

Although as Maresca gears up for a return to former club Leicester City after the international break, here’s the latest Chelsea injury news… Cole Palmer was a doubt to face Arsenal after he missed training in the build-up to the match following a nasty challenge from Lisandro Martinez during the 1-1 draw with Manchester United the week prior.
