“Abbott Elementary” star and creator, Quinta Brunson, and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star and co-creator. Rob McElhenney, both shared news they’re collaborating on a crossover episode on social media.

We’re also wondering if the Abbott cast will return the favor when It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia ’s 17th season starts filming. (I can totally see Lisa Ann Walter’s Melissa Schemmenti in that world, and it would be hilarious to see them involved in some NSFW antics outside of the elementary school.)

An Abbott Elementary and Always Sunny in Philadelphia crossover episode is in the works. Sunny creator and star Rob McElhenney posted photos of members of the two casts in front of the school from Abbott on his Instagram and Instagram Stories Thursday.
