“Anora,” “A Real Pain,” “A Complete Unknown,” “Wicked” and “Nickel Boys” are among the films that have been nominated by the Writers Guild of America in the feature film category, the WGA, West and WGA, East announced on Wednesday.

The Young and the Restless has been recognized again this award season. It was announced that the writing team of the show will has been nominated for the 2025 Writers Guild Awards.

WGA Awards nominations have been announced with "Challengers," "Civil War," "Hit Man" and "Wicked" among the nominees.

The Writers Guild of America announced the nominees for their awards on Wednesday, and fan favorites like Hit Man (written by Glen Powell and Richard Linklater) and Challengers (written by Justin Kuritzkes) are receiving some love they may have been denied elsewhere.

The Writers Guild of America, West and East chapters have postponed their nominations announcements until January 13 due to the ongoing LA wildfire crisis. The Guild originally scheduled the announcement for Thursday and offered no further comment.

The guild was set to announce this year's nominees on Monday after postponing the announcement from last week.
