World's first non-silicon 2D computer developed - MSN
In a world first, they used two-dimensional (2D) materials, which are only an atom thick and retain their properties at that scale, unlike silicon, to develop a computer capable of simple operations.
Those people were Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, the founders of Apple. By mid-1975, they’d been working for some months on their own personal computer, what would go on to become the Apple I.
