Israel is set to free more than 360 Palestinian prisoners in an exchange that had been thrown into doubt after days of mutual recriminations, but it now appears to be on track.

Hamas said it would carry out the ceasefire agreement “according to the specified timetable,” reversing a vow to delay prisoner releases over alleged Israeli violations.

Days after it said it would not release Israeli hostages, Hamas has now released the names of three hostages who would be freed on Saturday. However, US President Donald Trump has reiterated that the terrorist group must release all the hostages at once now.
