Kris Boyd won’t be returning to the Houston Texans in 2025. The veteran defensive back and special teams ace is off to the Big Apple. According to KRPC2 Sports' Aaron Wilson, the New York Jets and Boyd have agreed to terms on a one-year deal.

Tyler Johnson won’t be returning to the Los Angeles Rams in 2025. He was a pending free agent and he’s found a new team, agreeing to a deal with the New York Jets. The terms of his contract have not yet been revealed,

The Jets made a couple of additions in free agency late Friday night. Former Rams wide receiver Tyler Johnson and former Texans cornerback Kris Boyd, both agreed to terms with the Jets, their agents told reporters.

Per Rich Cimini, the Jets have agreed to deals with WR Tyler Johnson and CB Kris Boyd overnight. Johnson, 26, was a four-year starter at Minnesota and was named first-team All-Big Ten before being selected by the Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
