Defense consortium KNDS, known for building Leopard tanks and other combat vehicles, has increased its shareholding in German defense company Renk Group to 25.1% from 6.7%.

The new tanks are expected to be delivered between 2028 and 2031. KNDS is a company established in 2015 by the merger of Germany's Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) and France's Nexter Systems.
