Apple Maps now shows the Gulf of America as the name for the large body of water. Bloomberg reported the change would be rolled out to users in the U.S. first before being rolled out globally.

Google is complying with President Donald Trump’s executive action that renamed the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. Soon, the name change will appear on Google Maps.

In Google Maps in the United States, the sea is designated as the Sea of Japan (East Sea). A similar naming procedure is set to be used for the Gulf of Mexico in regions outside the United States.
