Venezuela’s Supreme Court on Monday issued a $10 million fine against TikTok for “not implementing measures” to prevent viral video challenges that have allegedly led to the deaths of three Venezuelan children recently.

Following further allegations that TikTok was responsible for the deaths of children who took part in a challenge, Venezuela imposes a fine of millions.

TikTok has been fined $10 million by Venezuela’s Supreme Court. The social media app is accused of failing to control the spread of viral challenges that have allegedly led to the deaths of three children in the country.

Judge Tania D’Amelio said the social media giant had acted in a negligent manner and gave it eight days to pay the fine.
