The University of Alabama is celebrating after a senior there was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship - just one of 32 American students to receive the honor this year.

The new class includes students from 20 different colleges and universities, including the first ever Rhodes Scholars from Eastern Mennonite University, Virginia and Pepperdine University, California.
