"I've come to realize that the 'Equalizer' films are for me, too, because they're for the people," the 'Gladiator II' actor told 'Esquire' Denzel Washington is returning for more Equalizer action. The 69-year-old actor revealed in a newly released Winter 2024 cover interview with Esquire that he will be back for not one but two films in the popular spy-thriller franchise.

Denzel Washington has confirmed that two more Equalizer movies are in the works. The franchise began with 2014's The Equalizer and follows Washington's former US Marine turned DIA intelligence officer Robert McCall. This was followed by a 2018 sequel, while a third instalment was released last year.
