Shenzhen Bay Park saw a record-breaking 10,197 drones light up the skies on September 26, marking the start of National Day celebrations.
Ten thousand drone show sets two new records in Shenzhen
The event comes only three weeks after two drone shows in Shenzhen broke Guinness World Records. On 5 September, 8,100 drones took to the sky over Shenzhen, setting the record for ‘the largest number of drones flying simultaneously.
China sets two World records with stunning display of 10,197 drones in Shenzhen
Just weeks earlier, China had also set a world record with a similar display of 7,598 drones over the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in celebration of its 72nd anniversary. The event formed intricate images in the sky, including The Great Wall of China and a majestic dragon.
China Sets Double Word Records During Stunning Light Show With Over 10,000 Drones
This remarkable drone performance is part of a larger series of the week-long celebrations. For seven consecutive days during the National Day holiday, over 10,000 drones will light up the skies across five districts in Shenzhen, making it one of the largest drone shows ever staged in China.
