Thousands will take to the streets of Austin Sunday morning for the annual Austin International Half (formerly known as the 3M Half Marathon), and community members will rally Monday to honor the legacy of Dr.

Those driving in North or Central Austin during the long weekend can expect road closures and possible traffic disruptions beginning Jan. 18.

The 13.1-mile race starts at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19.
