Goldfield was a beautiful place to visit. There is a lot of things to see and do. There is additional costs, but it was worth it.Full review by ally2022

Is it a tourist trap? Maybe- but it was so much better and more fun than I imagined. Use the website ahead of time to determine how much you’d like to spend and what you’d like to do. My family did …Full review by CassieW34

Do they allow dogs at goldfield Gold mine in Apache Junction Arizona

I believe so. We seen plenty of people with dogs there. However, be aware that when they re-enact a gunfight on Main Street they will have a lot of loud noises involved.

Thanks so much for all the helpful info. It sounds like it won't be worth it for me to take my kids there since it would be over an hour drive there from Cave Creek. I have another train question for any locals or experienced Phoenix area friends. I would like to take my kids on a short train ride just for fun but I also would like a western type attraction (like Rawhide used to be but I know it is only open on holidays now). Does anything similar to this exist? It can be touristy or hokey. I just like to do something with a western feel since its my kids first time in Arizona. They are 8, 5, and 7 months. I have read about Mccormick station.
Q:
Is it still open at night ?
A:
Merchants 10am to 5pm, Saloon 11am to 9pm. Check their website for more details. It’s most fun with kids and grands.
